A Few Spring Essentials
Hey y'all! I hope you're having a great week so far. There is nothing overly exciting about mine, except for the fact that I'm finalizing my travel plans for when I go out to see Christian. It hasn't even been a full month yet and it already feels like it's been forever. I'm just excited that I'll actually be with him on his birthday! We very rarely get to spend birthday's together. Thank you, baseball.
Also, just wanted to let y'all know that I'm working on a blog post for my everyday make-up and I'll be sharing the tutorial again on my IG story since I forgot to last time. I'm such a rookie! And I'm working on editing some video content that Christian and I started while he was still home. So lots of exciting things still happening!
So let's quick talk about a few pieces that I think you should have in your spring wardrobe..that I know you'll love. The first is this Blank NYC Suede Moto Jacket. I finally splurged on it a few weeks ago when we were up in Charlotte. I had my eye on it for quite some time, but couldn't handle the $188 price tag. But when I saw it in person and tried it on, it was completely justifiable. It is so well made and so perfect. The color goes with just about anything. Not to mention, it pairs so well with my favorite booties from Jeffrey Campbell which are also a must. Hands down, these booties are my most worn shoe. They are so incredibly comfortable and I always get compliments on them every time I wear them.
The next thing you need to make sure you have in your closet for this Spring is embroidered denim. Jackets or jeans; it doesn't matter! Just make sure you have this trend in your closet. I snagged these from Saks Off Fifth and they're under $60. SOF has quickly turned into one of my favorite places to shop, if I'm being honest. They always have such great clothing at marked-down prices. You seriously can't beat it! Next time I'm up in Charlotte I'm making it a point to head to the outlets to see what other great finds they have in store. I also grabbed this light-weight linen tank, which is perfect for layering now but also so light enough for the overly warm months in the summer. Did I mention it's under $30!? It's necessary.
