Blush + Blue

Hip hip hooray, it's Friday! And I almost can't believe how quickly the weeks are passing by. I mean, we are basically in July. Although, the summer can pass quickly because I'm the most excited for my husband to come home this off-season. I mean, I love summer but I love my hubby way more so there's that.

At any rate, today's post is not just about the outfit details. I've partnered up with Boo Hoo to talk about graduation. This time of year is filled with graduation celebrations of all sorts, from grade school, high school, and college. So I wanted to share how my style has changed since high school and even since college. For my high school graduation, I believe we were required to wear white so I had the most simple strapless white dress. There was not unique about it. Where if it were me now, I would've picked a dress that includes feminine details with a silhouette that is simply comfy. Which is why I chose this dusty blue lace dress. I felt like the lace added to the look since the cut is very simple and classic. I intentionally did not choose a white dress. Because me now, I like to wear clothing that makes a statement but is also true to who I am. And I truly believe in that quote, "Why fit in when you were born to stand out."

I particularly love this outfit though because I think it has the potential to be dressed up or down. It's even summer wedding appropriate. Those sort of outfits are always my favorite because you are bound to get lots of use out of your garments that way.

Now I want to know, how has your style changed since high school? Or even college? I'd love to know below!
