Bright + Embroidered
Hi guys! I hope you're having a great week so far. I know I've been a little behind on here (which I've explained a little bit on my Instagram stories) but just wanted to take some time away from blog content creation to reset. There have been so many new changes roll out amongst lots of social platforms so I'm doing my best to navigate through the changes to figure out what works best for myself and for all of you. If you watch the news, you may have seen some of the latest regarding Facebook and third party users. Without getting into the nitty-gritty, just know it's been a big pain in the butt as a blogger. But as a lot of y'all have expressed, it's a big pain in the butt as a follower too. At any rate, I'm going to analyze my blog post schedule with hopes to get back on track.
In the mean, I just wanted to share the latest that's been going on in our lives. First, Christian was called up to the Big Leagues a few weeks back and I couldn't be more proud of him. We've just been soaking it all in and it's been amazing to see him back where he belongs. As always, prayers are always appreciated. We've also started to tackle our yard, which if you know our yard then you'd know it's quite an undertaking. When we moved into our house, we barely even had a backyard, or at least one that you could see. It consisted of weeds and brush that was essentially inhibitable. This past fall we cleared out all of the debris and installed a privacy fence. Now, we're working on some of the more fun stuff. But we're also working on some of the "not fun" stuff, like gutter drains and grading the soil. The end result is going to be amazing though. We're sorta in a standstill right now though due to the rain, so hopefully we'll get back on track soon to finish out this project. I know lots of y'all asked to see the final result and I can't wait til it's done so I can finally show you.
I also shared this top with y'all a few weeks ago after while I was in Arizona. This top gives me all of the spring and summer feels, but I also love it because it can be styled a few ways. I'm a blue jean baby kinda girl, so pairing it with jeans is just the first way I'd style it. It'd also look cute with a skirt, under overalls, or even knotted over a dress. Lastly, I think I've mentioned this before but if you're on the market for a denim jacket then you need to add this one to your wardrobe. Honestly, one of the best purchases to date and it's only $30! #targetdoesitagain Well, that was a bit long-winded so let me know if you've got any questions or concerns. Comments are always appreciated, too! :-)
