A Little Life Update

Hello, hello. So if you follow me on Instagram then you probably already know; but we'll be going to the Dominican Republic for the month! As I'm sure most of you know that my husband is a professional baseball player. Typically we spend our seasons together; this season however has been much different from others though. The reason is: my husband got traded multiple times just over the course of Spring Training. But, we try to look at is an opportunity although sometimes it can be difficult and discouraging. However, Christian just accepted a job in the Dominican Republic for the month of October. So it's pretty exciting for a couple reasons!

O N E | Since March 3, 2017, we have only spent 4 days together. That's right: FOUR DAYS. When you live on the East coast and your husband is traded to the (stinky; sorry if your a WC person, I'm just a die-hard EC gal) West Coast it poses a huge problem. That being the time difference and the amount of money it takes to get across the entire country. So we're excited to start our off-season in the Dominican Republic. It'll be like a mini vacation/honeymoon since we still haven't take one.

T W O | Well, yeah it'll be a vacation for me. It'll be sorta a vacation for Christian. He'll have off two days a week so we'll still have plenty of quality time in the DR together.

T H R E E | This will be my first time outside of the country. So I'm pretty nervous about it but I know it'll all work out.

F O U R | It's all expenses paid; so we can go enjoy some baseball and what the Dominican has to offer! I'm most excited for the unlimited horse back riding; being that I used to ride competitively in high school.

Other exciting news; I'm really getting lots of our projects and tasks done around the house. So I cannot wait to share all of the decor with y'all. Also, if you didn't catch my IG story I shared that friends (they're basically my family) opened a new Vintage + Boutique shop in our hometown of Blythewood, SC. It's a process that I've been very much involved in so it has been amazing to see it come to life. If you're reading this and you're a Columbia resident; come in on 8/30 from 4:30-7:30 for our Sip 'N Shop event + on 9/1 at 10AM for our official grand opening! I hope to see some of y'all there!

I think that's most of the news that been going on in my life. If you'd like to check out the outfit details; they're below! Hope you have a great Wednesday!
