Purple Cut Out Dress // ft. Shop The Mint

I'm not just happy because it's Friday..I'm ecstatic because we make settlement on our home today! #FINALLY. I mean, realistically this whole process was very fast for us but it's just been dragging on with all the changes that we've had to endure. But I know once we are settled in it is going to be so worth it! Our movers are scheduled to deliver our Florida goods tomorrow (we've got a whole mess of new stuff from our wedding party up in PA that I can't wait to get down here) and my car will also be delivered over the weekend. So I think as soon as that stuff is there it'll feel a bit more real. I went over today for a final walk through and fell in love with it all over again. After our realtor left, I just laid on our great room floor to enjoy the space as I face timed Christian for his final "walk through" before we officially become home owners.

Anyways, I know you're probably more interested in this dress because duh! Look at how cute the cut-out detail is. It's from Shop the Mint and also very important to note: it is UNDER $45! {insert praise hand emoji} It is seriously such a soft material and it's so breathable. Purple is usually not my thing but I was so drawn to this dress for some reason.  I think since it is more muted and it almost has a sort of vintage wash too! I also paired it with my new favorite Lucky Brand booties that I got from DSW last week! The booties are dupes for the $150 Vince Camuto booties at Nordstrom. Also, a friend of mine who works for Lucky Brand informed me that Vince Camuto makes Lucky Brand's shoes! So that makes sense why they are so dang similar. I actually like the Lucky Brand booties better because I think the heel height is more flattering! Anyways, I gotta get down to business with this home so if you'd like to see what's happening follow along on my Instagram.

Hope y'all have a great weekend!
