The Importance of Accessorizing
Happy Monday, cuties!
I hope you had a great weekend. It sure was a beautiful weekend in South Carolina and I stayed busy. That's for dang sure! I spent some time out searching local antique stores for furniture. Followed by lots of cleaning and tedious tasks around the house! I also got a few paint samples this weekend (which I may need your input on because we can't make a decision) and I can't wait to get this house repainted. I also white-washed furniture for the first time ever yesterday and it was surprisingly easy. I've been sharing more of this sort of stuff on my IG story, so if you'd like to see then head here and follow along!
So let's talk about accessories and why they are so important. Let's just establish this simple fact that accessories can make or break an outfit. Have a white tee and distressed jeans on? Easy, throw on a statement necklace. More of an arm party kinda gal (like myself) then get to stacking. There are no rules for arm parties, stack as little (like 2-3) bracelets or even 8. The sky is the limit! I'm an arm party mixologist and am always looking to mix new bracelets in order to create new stacks. If you are wearing clothing that stands on it's own, just keep your accessories simple. I have been wearing my new Daniel Wellington watch and Patra Vee nail bracelet on repeat! Which is surprising because I'm usually a gold gal, but the two pair so nicely together! So for today's post, I wanted to share two ways to style this outfit simply by swapping out some accessories. I know some of y'all are like me and prefer arm parties, but some prefer layering necklaces which I'm also huge fan of! So I've partnered up with one of my favorite jewelry brands, Starletta Designs to share some of the new collection with you. Tara is the owner of Starletta Designs and she is seriously the sweetest ever! I'm so honored to continue working with her, but also because her latest collection is inspired by my style. HOW STINKING COOL IS THAT!? And if you've been following on my IG story then you probably already know I recently received a TON of jewelry from her! So I'll be linking it all as soon as it's live.
